Peach Knowledge - Japanese Fruit Selection Site
What is a co-selection field? A co-selection field is a place where farmers are responsible for grading, selecting and packaging freshly harvested crops before harvesting the crops and transporting them to supermarkets... etc. It not only relies on traditional manual sorting technology, It also incorporates modern automation equipment to improve efficiency and accuracy.
In the co-selection field, there are 5 steps from selection, inspection, grading to shipment. Step 1. Harvested in the farm and transported to the selection field. Farmers will first conduct preliminary processing of the freshly harvested peaches according to their varieties and characteristics. The fruit is then prepared for grading and inspection and transported to the sorting farm.
Step2. Manual visual sorting Once entering the fruit sorting field, it will first undergo manual visual inspection. This mainly excludes fruits with obvious defects in appearance, such as fruits with damaged skin or abnormal deformation.
Stap3. Optical sensor detection After the manual initial inspection of the fruit, the peaches will be placed on the conveyor belt tray and pass through the optical sensor. These high-precision optical sensors can detect the color, size, shape, and sweetness. .
Step4. Packing and bundling according to grade. According to the analysis results of the optical sensor, the peaches will be graded and automatically sent to the corresponding packaging production line. They will be manually packaged and put into the carton with cushioning material, and then passed through the conveyor belt. Carry out subsequent sealing operations to ensure optimal condition during transportation.
Step 5: Prepare to be sent to the airport. Finally, the graded and packaged peaches will be loaded into the refrigerated cargo area for containerization and ready to be exported to the international market to ensure the freshness of the fruit.
