Xun Guowu not only focuses on importing high-quality fruits from around the world, we are also committed to going deep into Taiwan to discover those farmers who work silently and grow fruits with care. This time, we would like to recommend the organic blueberries grown by Taiwanese blueberry expert Yang Shiyi: Berry Diary

[The original intention and dream from the land] On the gently undulating slopes of Bagua Mountain in Nantou, a young man is quietly realizing his dream of blueberries. He is the manager of "Berry Diary" - Yang Shiyi. Growing up in an orchard, he saw the rural population aging and the land losing its vitality, so he decided to study horticulture and chose "blueberry planting" as his graduation thesis. After several years of research and hard work, he has now built a blueberry garden covering an area of one and a half hectares in his hometown. The park's main varieties are "Southern Highland Blueberry" and "Rabbiteye Blueberry", which not only have plump fruits and high nutritional value, but have also passed the organic transition period certification (certificate number: 1-009-120671), practicing the concept of nature-friendly farming.
[Natural Symbiosis × Sustainable Common Good: The Gentle Road of Blueberries] Although blueberries are a popular imported fruit in Taiwan, it is not an easy road to successfully grow them in Taiwan. Blueberries prefer highly acidic, well-drained soil. They are very sensitive to the environment and are easily affected by pests and diseases. However, Yang Shiyi chose not to take shortcuts. He set up bird nets instead of bird repellents; used the "grass culture method" to plant plants that bees and beneficial insects like to create an ecological habitat; and used bees for pollination and carnivorous insects such as mantises and crickets to control pests and diseases. Every blueberry grows slowly in such a natural symbiotic environment and is carefully picked one by one by hand. This gentle persistence in caring for the land also makes the flavor of blueberries richer and more layered, making it safe and enjoyable to eat.
[Freshly picked in season × pre-order delivery: from the hillside to your hands in just a few days] Berry Diary insists on "harvesting fully ripe and shipping the next day" and does not require long-term refrigerated transportation to retain the most natural sweetness and nutrition of blueberries. Harvest period: March to July every year. Each box contains mixed varieties, allowing you to feel the delicacy and warmth of the Taiwanese land with every bite.
