Tottori , The Sand Paradise

It borders the Sea of Japan to the north, Hyogo Prefecture to the east, Okayama Prefecture and Hiroshima Prefecture to the south, and Shimane Prefecture to the west. Tottori Prefecture has one of the largest tourist sand dunes in Japan, the Tottori Sand Dunes, and is an important pear producing area in Japan. Although the population density is low, it still develops its own unique character. The most famous one is Tottori Sand Dunes.
